USDA Reports 2% of Corn, 4% of Cotton Planted

USDA's crop progress report for the week ended April 3 reported 2% of corn crops planted, in line with the 2% reported planted by this time in 2021. The 5-year average for corn planted in this week is 2%. Texas led among the top 18 corn planting states with 54% of its total corn crop planted.

The same report showed 4% of cotton and 13% of sorghum planted.
