NATIONAL STRIP-TILLAGE CONFERENCE – COVID PRECAUTIONS

UPDATED MAY 13, 2021

The National Strip-Tillage Conference will be following all COVID-19 health and safety protocols recommended by the CDC, local health officials and Hilton brand hotels, which includes the Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center that is hosting this year's event.

Here are answers to some commonly asked questions regarding precautions you may expect:

"Will masks be required?" — As of today (5/20/21), the Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center will be requiring masks in common spaces of the hotel (lobby, hallways, elevators, etc.). Within our designated conference rooms, masks will be recommended — and available upon request — when you are not able to socially distance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to navigate the ever-changing Covid-19 recommendations. We will continue to follow the health and safety protocols recommended by the CDC and local health officials and will provide updates as they arise.

"How will you be able to properly socially distance?" — We are limiting attendance at this year's National Strip-Tillage Conference to ensure the ability for attendees to learn in a safe environment. Once our maximum registration capacity is met, no additional attendees will be allowed to register. Additionally, we are working closely with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center on rooms layouts that will allow all attendees to be seated at a socially safe distance from other attendees during all sessions.

"What is the hotel doing to ensure a clean environment?" — The Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center has already returned to successfully hosting live, in-person events. The company-wide Hilton CleanStay program allows for a cleaner and safer stay from check-in to check-out, including: tailored housekeeping services, available contactless check-in, disinfecting stations throughout the property, increased scheduled cleaning of public spaces, thorough room cleaning and disinfecting in-between guests, and much more. To responsibly host meetings and events, Hilton Team Members are partnering with the National Strip-Tillage Conference to achieve a successful and safe event experience for attendees while addressing health concerns. To learn more about the Hilton CleanStay program.
