According to the report, 91% of soybeans have emerged, above the 86% reported emerged in the same week last year. The 5-year average for soybean emergence in this week was 85%.

USDA also reported 97% of soybeans have been planted, an increase from the 94% planted by this point last year. This also surpasses the 94% 5-year average.

Some 51% of soybean crops were reported in "good" condition, with another 9% in "excellent" condition and 31% in "fair condition."

The report stated 5% of soybeans were reported blooming in the same week, with Louisiana reporting the most soybeans blooming at 47%.

Around 54% of corn crops were reported in "good" condition, with another 11% in "excellent" condition and 29% in "fair condition."
