Registration is now open for the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD)'s 2025 Summer Conservation Forum & Tours. Hosted with Wisconsin Land + Water, the NACD Summer Meeting will be held in Milwaukee, Wis., this July 25-29, 2025.

Strip-Till Farmer's Mike Lessiter is the Luncheon keynote speaker at this year's event. During his presentation, Lessiter will share key elements of no-till history, why it’s a blueprint for future change, critical success factors to sustain and grow conservation practices, and the role of districts in making successful conservation transitions and adoption a reality.

Other presentations include:

  • Creating Resilient Wisconsin Landscapes
  • Empowering Farmers, Strengthening Partnerships: Wisconsin's Producer-Led Watershed Protection Grants
  • Innovative Wisconsin Conservation Programs

There will also be several tours and an outing to the Milwaukee Brewers stadium for a baseball game against regional rivals, the Chicago Cubs.
