The Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) is inviting innovative and conservation-minded farmers and ranchers to submit their operations as potential host sites for the 2026 Conservation in Action Tour in North Carolina.
Now entering its 19th year, the Conservation in Action Tour highlights real-world conservation systems and explores topics such as cover crops, nutrient and water management, diversified rotations, livestock integration, precision agriculture, and the policies and partnerships that help drive implementation on the ground.
CTIC is seeking host farms and regional partners who are leading by example in soil health, water quality, habitat development, and other on-farm conservation practices. The 2026 event will include farm tours, technical demonstrations, and industry stops that will inspire and inform a national audience of decision-makers and practitioners.
“The Conservation in Action Tour brings conservation to life in the fields of forward-thinking farmers,” said Ryan Heiniger, CTIC Executive Director. “We’re looking for producers who are eager to share their stories and help us show how conservation practices are productive and profitable across different production systems and geographies.”
Who Should Apply?
