A contingent of Strip-Till Farmer editors descended on the recent 2014 Farm Progress Show to learn about the latest machines and inputs that could help boost yields and profits for strip-tillers.

Dave Link, technical manager with Harvestec, introduces Harvestec's new 600 series of corn heads at the 2013 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill. The line has a number of new features. The goals of the new features are to lower power consumption, increase efficiency, come in at a lighter weight, create a finer length of chop and to ensure easy maintenance.

Kaleb Lindquist, Software Sales Specialist for Ag Leader, introduces the new Compass Display, an entry-level guidance and virtual terminal display. According to Kaleb, setting up a guidance line takes just 4 touchscreen clicks on the Compass.

Mike Martinez, Market Manager in Trimble's Ag Division announces the introduction of the Connected Farm Dashboard and the new Trimble TMX-2050 Display. The Connected Farm Dashboard provides one centralized location for farmers to view key information impacting their operations.

Lee Kilpatrick, director of sales and marketing for BBI Spreaders, gives a brief overview of the product BBI showed at the 2013 Farm Progress Show. That included the BBI MagnaSpread Ultra, MagnaSpread 2, MagnaSpread 3 and the Task Command System.
