Dawn Equipment President Joe Bassett shares the steps they've taken to improve upon their Pluribus strip-tillage machine. The new 5th Generation system features Rfx+ row-by-row, automated hydraulic down-force as well as utilizing a strain gauge sensor paired with the new screw-adjust depth control.

For the first time, Dawn Equipment Co., unveiled its new Gen 5 Pluribus row unit, which features row-by-row down pressure, an equalizer gauge wheel arm setup and redesigned guards which help flow soil through the unit, while keeping it the row.

Strip-Till Farmer editor Darrell Bruggink caught up with Joe Bassett, President of Dawn Equipment Co. at the 2017 National Strip-Tillage Conference in Omaha, Neb., to discuss the history and how they developed their strip-till unit, the Pluribus.
