Understanding the mobility of today’s farmer, Strip-Till Farmer launched its 2016 podcast series on Sept. 14 with the first episode, “Strengthening Your Strip-Tilled Soils with Cover Crops & Other Ecological Tools,” featuring soil scientist Jill Clapperton.

The new twice-per-month program will feature a variety of timely, topical and sometimes controversial conversations with strip-till industry leaders on strategies for building better berms, corn-on-corn residue management tips, increasing ROI with precision farming tools and many more.

“Our new podcast series is a natural extension of our established online resources and the National Strip-Tillage Conference to provide strip-tillers with a convenient, accessible way to listen to their peers share actionable, profitable information,” says Managing Editor Jack Zemlicka.

The Strip-Till Farmer podcast series is being sponsored by Thurston Mfg. Co., the manufacturers of Blu-Jet products. Each episode will be available for free download on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher Radio, TuneIn Radio and SoundCloud.
