Ben Pederson and his dad, Gary, farm 4,000 acres near Lake Mills, Iowa, and transitioned their corn and soybean operation to 100% strip-till in 2012. Pederson is co-owner of Vital Grains, and is a farmer focused on proving that he can be a leading steward of the land and produce top yields at low cost.
