When North Bend, Neb., strip-tiller Nick Emanuel started his strip-till journey in 2013 on the family’s 2,000-acre operation, his goals were to improve nutrient efficiency, tillage effectiveness and crop emergence. As he’s evolved his system, Emanuel, who owns and operates CropMetrics, an agronomic solutions company, still draws on the lessons learned from his first few years to shape future goals.
