Strip-Tillers Host Stop on Conservation in Action Tour
Garretson, S.D., strip-tillers Ryan and Christina Larson opened up their doors to attendees on the CTIC’s Conservation in Action Tour. 150 attendees from around the U.S. got an up-close look at the Larsons’ strip-till system and conservation practices during the annual tour.

‘Gotta Love a Strip-Till, Cover Crop System’
Brian Newcombe shared these photos of cereal rye and hairy vetch in between his strips, prompting Woody Van Arkel to say, “Gotta love a strip-till, cover crop system.” Newcombe says he drives the tractor on the “green” and strip-tills the terminated cover crops in between with his Dawn unit.
