New Case IH Strip-Till Rig on Display at Commodity Classic
Case IH unveiled its new Nutri-Tiller 1000 strip-till bar at Commodity Classic last week in San Antonio. “We’ve got a limited number of machines for 2026,” notes Tony McClelland, Case IH global product manager. “We’ll have full production available for 2027, and we’ll actually start taking orders on the ’27 machines in May.” We’ll have a closer look at the new machine and additional coverage from Commodity Classic soon on StripTillFarmer.com!
First-Generation Strip-Tiller Shares Important Message for Farmers
James Hepp, who we’ve featured a few times in Strip-Till Farmer, shares his approach to conservation ag in this feature from the Iowa Soybean Association. “Just try it (strip-till, no-till, cover crops, etc.),” he says. “Don’t just take my word for it, try it on your own acres. Take 10 or 20 acres and experiment. Find others in your area who are doing the same thing. There are more of us conservationists than you think.”
Strip-Till Agronomic Lessons Learned from PTI Farm
Jason Webster is always must-see TV when he takes the stage. The former National Strip-Tillage Conference Speaker of the Year shares some of his top takeaways from Precision Planting PTI Farm research in 2025. He explains why some of the findings challenge long standing nutrient management assumptions and highlight new opportunities for strip-tillers to increase profit and efficiency.
