Farmers Ready for Spring Strip-Till Operations

Plains Grain & Agronomy is a 5-location co-op that specializes in custom spraying and strip-till. April 8, the Magic #Plant26 Date for Michigan Strip-Tiller

Brownfield Ag News catches up with southeast Michigan strip-tiller Jim Isley ahead of #Plant26. “We’ve planted soybeans on the 8th day of April for 3 years in a row,” he says. “For each of those 3 years, they were our best soybeans. We plant about 40-50 acres just to try it out. The early-planted beans have done better for us.”
