Lessiter Media, publishers of Farm Equipment and No-Till Farmer, announced the introduction of a new print publication, Strip-Till Farmer, available later this fall.

Jack Zemlicka has been promoted to Ag Division Content Director for Lessiter Media, Brookfield, Wis.

The benefits of precision farming translate to multiple farming practices, but strip-till is often cited as a system in which technology is essential. Banding nutrients beneath the soil surface and accurately planting into a fertile seed bed are cornerstones of strip-till, enhanced by a reliable guidance technology.

No-tillers deemed 13 products the best among their categories, which 
were recognized at the 24th annual National No-Tillage Conference.

Voting is now open for the opening round of the 11th annual No-Till Product of the Year program. No-tillers and strip-tillers can now select the top-performing products in 13 different categories through Sunday, Nov. 8.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from Ball State University, and was most recently the assistant editor for Greenhouse Management and Produce Grower magazines. No-Till Farmer is a paid-subscription publication that reaches nearly 8,000 farmers interested in learning more about how to no-till, strip-till or manage other conservation-tillage techniques. The 12 monthly issues include eight issues of a 16-page newsletter and four quarterly issues of a full-length, four-color magazine that accepts display advertising.
