Constructed to be 24 feet wider than the previous largest model, the drill includes seed opener modifications to optimize nutrient uptake. The release also includes TruSet compatible technology, which allows for in-cab depth adjustment on seed placement, and RelativeFlow, which alerts users of potential tower blockages in real-time.

The manufacturer received the American Farm Bureau Ag Data Transparent (ADT) certification, which verifies to producers that a technology provider or product is in compliance with specific core principles for ag data ownership, consent and privacy.

Producers and their trusted advisors can transfer data from the displays into Ag Leader SMS software for spraying and other field applications.

Deere said it will invest $305 million to fully acquire Blue River Technology and plans to have the 60 person firm remain in Sunnyvale, Calif. The transaction is expected to close in September.

The collaboration will give John Deere customers more tools to measure and improve their financial performance, and a program will be launched to reward Deere dealers who work with Granular.
