John Deere announced it has enhanced the integrated technology of its new 5R and 6M Utility Tractors to give customers an easy, cost-effective way to view AutoTrac Automated Guidance System information without having to purchase a separate display. AutoTrac enables hands-free steering of the tractor by using GPS coordinates to control the tractor.

The John Deere AutoTrac Controller 300 universal after-market steering kit gives producers the benefits of integrated AutoTrac precision guidance with no impact on operator ergonomics and no steering wheel modifications. According to John Mishler, precision ag marketing manager for John Deere, the AutoTrac Controller 300 system is customizable to different types, ages and brands of ag machines that have hydraulic steering from a single source and at least four wheels.

John Deere has introduced the ExactRate factory-installed option for precise monitoring and controlling liquid fertilizer application during planting. ExactRate gives operators row-by-row section control to help reduce fertilizer costs and the amount of chemicals applied by shutting off application in areas of overlap or non-application.

John Deere has announced updates for Model Year 2020 S700 Series Combines, which include upgrades to improve automation, data management and residue placement.

The system is an interface that utilizes the same monitor and user interface that AutoTrac users want. The Green Fit interface eliminates the burden of learning and converting to a new steering system when buying another equipment brand.

Constructed to be 40% wider than the previous largest model, the drill includes 33-inch mainframe tires, designed to work independently across hilly terrain for even pressure across the soil. The release also includes TruSet compatible technology, which allows for incab depth adjustment on seed placement, and RelativeFlow, which alerts users of potential tower blockages in real-time.
