The Pesticide Injury Accountability Act, floated by Sen. Cory Book (D-N.J.), would amend the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act of 1972 (FIFRA), “to create a federal right of action for anyone who is harmed by a toxic pesticide.”

The share of acreage for major U.S. crops managed using no-till and reduced till practices has increased over time.

During each spring and early summer, the chisel plow and strip-till berms consistently had the driest and warmest soil conditions. These were followed by the areas between the strip-till berms and vertical-till. Finally, no-till had the wettest and coolest soil conditions.
